  We came over from a different Christian school this year and are just thrilled with them. The faculty include some of the most caring, the most Christ-like teachers I've ever known. They stay late to tutor my child. They work hard to teach in a way that works for him. When he gets a bad test score, they have the most uplifting, encouraging comments on the test you can imagine (not just big red X marks!).
  
  The other students are great. We have not encountered any of the middle school junk that goes on so many other places. My child was new this year and we expected there to be a lot of cliques and negative behavior, but they treat him like he's a member of the family.
  
  My child uses the same textbooks that public school kids do. Our old school used textbooks by a Christian publisher, which was fine, until we needed tutoring at one of the local tutoring companies. It was harder because the tutoring companies didn't know those textbooks.
  
  They have a separate Religion class that teaches Christian doctrine from a Lutheran perspective. Our family is not Lutheran but we have not seen anything that is substantially at odds with what he hears at our Protestant, non-denominational church.
  
  We were very nervous about making the move here, but every day we thank God for directing us to this school and these wonderful people.
